Qantice - Hoverland
Genres: Power Metal Symphonic Metal Progressive Metal Release Date: 7/19/2014
After much delay (and much impatience on the part of yours truly), Qantice finally released their second full-length album early in 2014. Their first album is one of my favorite albums of all time (OF ALL TIME), and I was afraid that its monolithic presence upon the power metal landscape would render any second effort underwhelming in comparison.

You can breathe easily knowing that my worries were unfounded. While "The Phantonauts" is somewhat more straightforward than "The Cosmocinesy", it is catchier and more focused. The vocal talents of PelleK are appreciated, although, I kind of preferred that Pichereau guy they had before.

This song is probably the best on the album, and is a straight power metal assault the likes of which could not be found on Qantice's first album. The steps are suitably fast to match the speedy qualities of the music. If you enjoy any kind of symphonic or progressive metal, I hereby command you to download this simfile without fucking delay.
