Sonata Arctica - San Sebastian (Revisited)
Genres: Power Metal Release Date: 5/11/2012
This song was originally released on the "Successor" EP, which was Sonata Arctica's first attempt at a follow-up to their debut masterpiece "Ecliptica". However, they rerecorded it for their second full-length foray, "Silence". I'm glad they did, because I once attempted to step the EP version, and I had to stop because the sync was impossible to get right. The second time around, the band presumably had enough label support to afford a producer who would emphasize playing at a consistent tempo. Thus - a version of the song that I can step! Not one to waste such opportunities, I have laid down 2000 tiny arrows to the beat of this song and believe, perhaps foolishly, that people will be able to hit a good majority of those notes in order to score points in a video game.

This song is very heavy on the jump-runs, because if it wasn't, you would be looking at pretty much one nonstop sixteenth-note run from beginning to end. That might be fun (check that - it would definitely be fun) but you can get that style from my earlier files.

Happy keyboard smashing!

P.S. I spent a long time on the background for this file. Usually I'm joking when I say that, but not this time. So if you're one of those people who plays with backgrounds off, DON'T, or at least open up the folder and take a look at the BG by itself.
