Nightwish - Stargazers
Genres: Power Metal Symphonic Metal Release Date: 10/13/2011
It is a well known phenomenon among metal bands to release one or two good albums at the beginning of a career, after which point there is an ugly stream of sub-par albums, each one more pandering and troglodytic than the last. Nightwish follows this pattern closely, although they did manage to show some improvement between their most recent album Dark Passion Play, which is merely shitty, and their second-most-recent album, Once, which is a shittacularly shitty display of shitty shit.

Don't worry, however; this song is from Nightwish's second album, and therefore is good by default! It is slow (125 BPM) and the steps never get very difficult, so this song should be enjoyed most by non-expert keyboard players.

Fun fact: Nightwish was one of my earliest musical discoveries, but it took me six years to get around to making a simfile of one of their songs.

Fun fact #2: I managed to write this description without disparaging "angelic", "operatic" female vocalists more than once.
